ABOUT US

Since the Eastham Historical Society’s founding in 1963, the Society has been committed to preserving Eastham’s past for Eastham’s future by preserving, sharing and partnering with our community. Our vision is to create a place where Eastham History Comes to Life for residents and visitors alike.

With the completion of the new "restored" wing, we now need your help to add new interactive and accessible features to the 1869 Schoolhouse Museum.

New interactive and accessible features will add to your experience when you visit. We don't charge for admission, so your generosity is critical to finishing the project to share and celebrate our stories.

Our Museums

The Society runs several museums:

1869 Schoolhouse & Museum

When: Every Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat between 11:00AM - 2:00PM
Where: 25 Schoolhouse Road

All Museums within the Swift-Daley Complex

When: Every Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat between 10:00AM - 1:00PM
Located: 2375 State Hwy / Route 6

Special Hours: Tuesday's Tool Time at the Ranlett Tool House Museum & Olde Gift Shop

When: Every Tuesday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Located: behind the Swift-Daley House

The Archives

When: Year-round on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, and by appointment
Located: 25 Schoolhouse Road
